one vision

Explore below God's calling for Mission Community Church to be an impact church!

God chooses to build His kingdom through us, the church!

Take a moment to pray for Mission Community Church and the global church of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, thank You for caring for Your church globally and locally and for the privilege of being a part of Your mission and vision for building it up. I know that Your purposes for Mission Community Church will prevail over any opposition, whether from without or within, and I pray that our church leaders and our whole Mission church body, including myself, would be perfectly aligned as one with Your mission and vision. I pray that You would continue to provide what Mission Community Church needs - spiritually, practically, and in all other ways - to be a highly impactful church, helping more people to meet, know, and follow Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18 (ESV)

Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols. So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there. Acts 17:16-17 (ESV)

The church is made up of God's people! Anything else is simply a tool to build His church.

Take a moment to consider the purpose of the church and the mission and vision of Mission Community Church.

  • Read the mission and vision of Mission Community Church

  • Think about your own "mission" and "vision" for your life and how they align with God's mission for building His church - loving Him, loving and serving one another and spreading the gospel.

  • Write down three practical ways you can adjust your own pursuits to align with God's pursuits.

Jesus made a profound commitment to His people, the church - calling us His bride and He our bridegoom!

Take a moment to consider what that covenant means and your response to it.

  • I commit to partner with Jesus in building up His church, as He has committed to me and all believers.

  • I commit to being a part of pursuing the mission and vision God has given to Mission Community Church and to pray for the leaders of the church as God guides the body through them.

  • As I make decisions about how to practically be involved in building up the church, I commit to continue in prayer, discovery, commitment, and growth, allowing Jesus to use me as He leads.

"The vision of Mission is to be a marketplace church with wide-open doors. We want to leverage a space that's not only utilized Sundays for church gattherings, but also everyday for community connection and service."
